Palawan village councilor, wife gunned down
MANILA, Philippines—An incumbent village councilor and his wife were shot dead in Palawan Wednesday, police said.
Police Senior Superintendent Raymond Domingo, Bataraza chief of police, identified the victims as Rogelio and Zosima Consomino.
He said the two were shot by unidentified men in Barangay (village) Tabud in Bataraza around 12 midnight while they on their home after watching a movie.
